Susan returns to Tanglewood

Susan Graham reunites with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and Andris Nelsons at the Tanglewood Music Festival in two evenings this August.

Together, they present Mahler’s Third Symphony on August 24, with the Tanglewood Festival Chorus under the direction of James Burton.

The next day, on August 25, Susan joins a star-studded lineup for the culminating evening of this year’s festival – the Tanglewood Bernstein Centennial Celebration.

The performance celebrates Bernstein’s long history and dedication to the BSO. Along with Susan, Nelsons, and the BSO, featured in the evening are: conductors Christoph Eschenbach, Keith Lockhart, Michael Tilson Thomas, and John Williams, singer Audra McDonald, violinist Midori, cellists Yo-Yo Ma and Kian Soltani, soprano Nadine Sierra, mezzo-soprano Isabel Leonard, baritone Thomas Hampson, vocalist Jessica Vosk and Tony Yazbeck, and director James Darrah.
