Tonight, Susan Graham makes her final role debut of the season when she brings the role of Anna to life in a new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s beloved musical The King and I at Paris’s Théâtre du Châtelet. Susan will be co-starring with French film star and singer Lambert Wilson, under the direction of Lee Blakely and choreographer Peggy Hickey. It was with this same production team that Susan recently proved “spectacular” (Santa Fe New Mexican) in the title role of Offenbach’s The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein at Santa Fe Opera, where she headlined the company’s season-opening staging of the comic masterpiece.
